Two women set out in 1988 to build a museum in New York City that pays homage to America's immigrants. To mark the 30th anniversary of the Tenement Museum, co-founder Ruth Abram tells the story of the building at 97 Orchard Street in New York's Lower East Side. She describes how the museum uses the stories of 19th and 20th century immigrants who lived at Orchard Street to bring history to life.
